Kyla & Michael – March 28, 2015 – Maitland Art Center
Remember that weekend in March when the weather was unusually cooler for Springtime in Florida? We definitely weren’t complaining because Kyla & Michael’s Art Center Wedding was taking place at this outdoor venue!
It was an absolutely perfect day for a wedding, no joke. The venue’s chapel was the perfect setting for this couple’s intimate wedding ceremony. Guests gathered to witness the never-thought-I-would-actually-witness-these vows. It took a while for this lovely couple to get there, but they made it, and so in love, too! Their ceremony was performed by Reverend Kevin Knox. It embodied the love & affection that this couple shared for each other. Our favorite part was watching Michael kiss Kyla’s hand after he placed her wedding ring on her left hand. It was such a sweet moment that we were happy to be a part of.
Once the ceremony was finished, guests entered the courtyard for signature drinks & appetizers chosen by the newlyweds. Guests mingled, wrote down words of wisdom for the Bride & Groom and enjoyed each other’s company. After the fun-loving bridal party was introduced, the party was ready to get started! Guests were seated at long family-style tables dressed with beautiful blush satin linens. Romantic market lighting was strung above the reception space, perfectly accenting this Art Center Wedding.
Intimate weddings allow for all the guests to get to know each other more. Kyla & Michael’s friends & families did just that. With an open seating plan and fun mad lib cards to fill out, you would have thought that everyone knew each other from the beginning! We loved watching the couple getting to truly enjoy every moment of their special day with all their loved ones by their sides.
Kyla & Michael, thank you for trusting us with your very special day! We loved getting the chance to work with you & your vendor team to make your dream Art Center Wedding. We wish you all the best, always!
