Shelby & Andrew – January 3, 2016 – Orlando Museum of Art
We’re referring to this wedding as a calla lily wedding because it had such a heavy presence of these beautiful blooms! With Shelby & Andrew both living in Boston, we worked with her mother to tie everything together. From the vendors to the timeline, we loved seeing this wedding come together!
One of our favorite parts of this entire wedding was how amazingly dapper the couple looked. Shelby’s sleek figure fit perfectly into her silk embellished gown. Her bouquet consisted of only dark centered purple calla lillies-talk about dramatic! Andrew was handsome in his dark suit, perfect for an art museum. The lovely couple’s ceremony took place in the Chihuly room at the Orlando Museum of Art, with their friends & family surrounding them.
Cocktail hour was enjoyed by guests as they could sign the guest book or snap a photo at the DIY photobooth. We loved seeing how interactive the guests were, and the newlyweds even got a chance to strike a pose! As guests entered the Rotunda for the reception, they were seated at tables dressed in navy linens. Silver Chiavari Chairs were the metallic accent. This calla lily wedding wouldn’t be complete without the sleek & modern centerpieces! The room had a romantic glow to it with the uplighting & centerpiece pinspots, provided by Soundwave Entertainment.
After the buffet dinner and cake cutting, the Bride & Groom joined their guests on the dance floor for the rest of the night! It was so fun watching everyone enjoy themselves throughout the reception. Possibly our favorite part was that Jeremiah’s Italian Ice was delivered as the sweet treat towards the end of the night. A fun Sprinkles exit, yes Sprinkles, concluded the celebration as the newlyweds were whisked into marital bliss!
Shelby & Andrew, THANK YOU for letting us be a part of your special calla lily wedding! We loved working with you and your families to bring everything together 🙂
