This lovely couple came all the way from Bermuda just to have a Caribbean Orlando Wedding! We met them when they visited our booth at a Wedding Show and felt a connection with them immediately. They were only in town for a couple of days and booked almost all of their vendors at the show that day (talk about determination!)
It was a beautiful and sunny March day that began with an elegant, yet bold ceremony. Erica was escorted by her two very proud uncles down the aisle and greeted by a misty-eyed Darin. The ceremony was just perfect with the couple’s personalities showing through in their both emotional and humorous vows. The guests giggled along with the couple as they took part in a Tasting of the Four Elements Ceremony. While tasting the bitterness of vinegar, the sourness of a lemon, the spiciness of cayenne pepper and the sweetness of honey, they were reminded of what marriage can hold and vowed to weather it all together. With dramatic floral arrangements and stage draped in royal purple, the couple was married in front of their family and friends, most of which traveled from Bermuda for the occasion.
The reception was held in a larger ballroom to accommodate for their nearly 140 guests and the extra large dance floor (that was full all night long!). Royal purple and gold were the predominant colors of the Caribbean Orlando Wedding. The tables had incredible, tall centerpieces of purple hydrangeas and stock with hot pink roses being held up by a gold stem. Gold chargers, royal purple napkins, and a personalized Thank You note made up each place setting.
The couple flew in their favorite DJ from back home who kept the dance floor packed from start to finish. When guests weren’t dancing, they took advantage of the step & repeat photo booth that really took this black-tie affair to the next level. Coffee & cake kept them dancing into the wee hours of the morning.
Erica & Darin, THANK YOU for allowing us to be a part of your Caribbean Orlando Wedding. It was truly an honor to work with you! XO
