Nicole & Joey – December 10, 2016 – Club Lake Plantation

This sweet couple truly embraced the look & feel of their venue. They incorporated lots of DIY aspects into the decor, keeping with their navy & mint color scheme. Club Lake Plantation is located in Apopka, FL, about 30 minutes outside of Orlando. It’s a quaint venue, on private property. Our favorite part was the working stables with horses! It has character that was a perfect setting for Nicole & Joey.

It was a beautiful December day, and we had perfect weather for an outdoor ceremony & reception! The nuptials took place under the gorgeous wooden pergola, with the sun starting to set in the background. After the ceremony, the couple took advantage of the luscious greens that Club Lake Plantation has to offer. Guests enjoyed appetizers and cocktails near the horse stables. We were busy putting the finishing touches on the reception space.

With the reception space packed with guest tables, the couple fully utilized all options inside and outside of the garage. Navy linens dressed the tables with burlap table runners. The couple provided wood slabs to anchor the centerpieces of mason jars and wheat straws. It was the perfect amount of ‘country’ touch, and we loved how it stuck out against the dark linens! Guests stayed warm by the firepit, danced with loved ones and enjoyed dessert at the fro-yo bar. Yes, we said fro-yo bar!! This was truly a hit with every single guest.
