It’s officially the first day of fall! While the weather is changing and getting cooler, fall wedding food trends are also undergoing a transformation. One of the main things on your guests’ minds is what type of food and beverages are going to be offered during your event. This fall, we welcome the change, with warm colors incorporated into the menu, some fun new signature drinks, and favors that’ll tie in your fall theme perfectly.
Color schemes are not only used for decorating your wedding, but they can also be incorporated into your menu as well. This fall, we are welcoming warm colors in all aspects. Instead of offering guests a green leafy salad, you can offer them a butternut squash soup. If you’re a salad lover and can’t see your wedding without it, you can offer your guests a salad with walnuts, cranberries, or pumpkin seeds. If you’re looking to have a signature drink, but want something fall related, try serving Caramel Appletinis. Feeling creative? Take it a step further and add a cinnamon sugar rim!
What’s the best part of the food, if not dessert? This fall we are straying away from the cake norm and adding pie bars. A miniature pie bar is a perfect way to keep your guests’ sweet tooth happy and is a huge fall wedding food trend! You can add fall favorites like apple, pumpkin, or cranberry. A perfect pair for the pie bar would be a hot cider bar. (A delightful signature drink for those guests who don’t drink alcohol.)
Favors can be a favorite at a wedding, and give you the chance to have someone take a part of your wedding home with them. This season there are favors you can take home and eat, yum! A popular fall favorite is the caramel apple. To make the gift more personal you can add a tag with a special message, or a monogram of your initials.

If edible favors are not your thing, you can offer miniature pumpkins, this way you can extend your fall theme into their home!
