Fiesta Themed Event – June 28, 2016 – NACE/ABC Joint Wedding Event at Mission Inn Resort
Our Team at this Fiesta Themed Event!
Being asked to plan this industry event was such an honor. Both Orlando Chapter of the National Association of Catering and Events and the Association of Bridal Consultants have a joint ‘wedding’ meeting each year. This is where over 100 industry professionals gather to experience a gorgeous venue, great food and good company!
When we were brought in, we knew the theme had already been decided- Fiesta! This is such a fun theme and something new, so we were very excited. We had to get to work to obtain vendors to sponsor every aspect of this Fiesta Themed Event. This is where our industry relationships came into play. We wanted to work with vendors who were willing to come together as a team to make this vision happen.
As fellow industry vendors arrived, they entered the foyer for cocktail hour. There were vibrant fuchsia linens, a fun paper flower wall and a sangria station. Mission Inn provided delicious appetizers for guests to enjoy as well. After some time, we had them transition into La Hacienda for Dinner. This space was dressed perfectly for a Fiesta Themed Event! We kept the table linens neutral, in order to bring in more vibrant colors throughout the decor. Atmospheres Floral really knocked it out of the park with the centerpieces and fun decor elements.
During dinner, our guests enjoyed learning about Marketing to Today’s Couple, a presentation given by Lauren Grove of Every Last Detail. Quite possibly our favorite part of the evening happened after dinner. We had a separate dessert reception waiting for our guests in another room. Complete with lounge furniture, a flaming flan station and yummy treats, it was a great place to relax after a delicious meal!
