Stephanie & Ralph – March 20, 2015 – Courtyard at Lake Lucerne
Let me just say that when I first met this couple, I fell in love with them and their adorable little family. I knew we would have a good time working together to pull their dream Garden Wedding together!
Stephanie was one of those brides that had her ideas in her head, and knew exactly how she wanted everything to play out. Some of these ideas, I agreed with, and others (like painting a unity canvas in her wedding dress) I was skeptical about. But in the end, and after many conversations, everything worked out beautifully!
The wedding day was a perfect Spring Orlando day. The ceremony setting couldn’t have been more perfect, nestled in a Garden hideaway right in the middle of Downtown Orlando. With a huge oak tree as their backdrop, this adorable couple exchanged their vows with their children, family members & friends as witnesses. Our favorite part of the ceremony was the build up before Stephanie walked down the aisle. She was very adamant about the timing of John Legend’s You and I, and knew the specific words she was going to walk down the aisle to. Seeing Ralph’s reaction as the French doors opened up and Stephanie started her walk was our favorite ceremony moment! The anticipation was built up, and everyone was in awe, including Ralph!
After the heartfelt ceremony, guests enjoyed the lounge furniture, cocktails and appetizers in the courtyard while the couple took their bridal party photos for this garden wedding. Inside the Dr. Phillip’s House, guests were seating at tables decorated with mint linens, french country chairs and lots of DIY decor. Stephanie was brave enough to make most of the decor herself, including the tree stump vases and gold glitter votive candle holders. At each guests’ place setting was a little box of macaroons for a sweet treat to take home!
Stephanie & Ralph, thank you for letting us be a part of your special day. We loved getting to know you better and working with you family & vendors for your dream Garden Wedding. We wish the both of you, Keilani & Kahlil all the best! XOXO
