We first started working with this couple earlier this year to bring their dream wedding to life. They trusted us to help build the perfect vendor team, and pull together their design ideas. With a vintage theme and bright color palette, we knew this Highland Manor wedding would be beautiful!
The weather held up for this Florida summer wedding. Even though there was no rain, this couple chose to get married indoors in the nice cool air conditioner. They had 75 of their closest family & friends witness their vows in the rustic chapel. After the ceremony, guests were welcomed into the cocktail hour space, where they enjoyed appetizers, drinks and watched a slideshow of the couple. While their guests were preoccupied, the newlyweds and their bridal party took photos around the gorgeous property.
Once the ballroom was opened, guests were welcomed by beautiful decor & lighting. The chandeliers inside the Highland Manor ballroom are gorgeous, and the ceiling draping only enhanced their beauty. The room had a warm amber glow to it, with neutral table linens. Bright colors were brought out in the floral arrangements. The centerpieces were made of ornate lanterns and bus vases on top of a rustic wood slice. Quite possibly our favorite (& delicious!) part of the decor was the simple, yet elegant wedding cake. It was tall and dramatic, with a striped buttercream pattern. The hot pink peonies added a fun pop of color, and who doesn’t love peonies?!
First dances always melt our hearts, but adding the ‘Dancing on a Cloud’ effect makes it even dreamier! It was special touches like these that really made this reception intimate and special. The couple wanted to enjoy the time they had with their guests, so we made sure they had enough time to visit with their guests before dancing the night away!
Megan & Milton, thank you for letting us be a part of your beautiful Highland Manor wedding! We lvoed working with you & your families to make your dream wedding happen! XO
