  • Alisala & Curtis – December 12, 2015 – Lake Nona, FL

It was a beautiful December day for a backyard lakeside wedding in Lake Nona! Alisala & Curtis were finally going to tie the knot! The couple met through work a few years back and knew that it was meant to be. I was even lucky enough to witness this romance when it first started. Having known the couple, I was honored to be a part of their wedding and expected nothing short of fun on their special day!

As guests arrived as Curtis’s family friend’s beautiful home, they were guided to the backyard for the lakeside wedding ceremony. The weather was perfect, with cool air and a light breeze. The sunset ceremony was meaningful in many ways. The homeowner & longtime family friend officiated the couple’s “I Dos”. As soon as Alisala & Curtis became Mr. & Mrs., guests were ushered onto the pool deck for tasty appetizers & cocktails while they took photos on the lawn & dock.

The outside lawn was decorated with a beautiful clear tent and stunning lighting. Simple & rustic described this backyard lakeside wedding. Grey & pink were the main colors, which were accented in the floral & linens. The couple added some personal touches with the custom cake topper which reflected Curtis’ profession & love for flying. The wedding favors were trendy & fun koozies (of course in their coordinating colors). Our favorite part was watching the newlyweds truly enjoy their wedding reception, dancing the night away with family & friends 🙂
