How did Party Shots Orlando get started?
“Party Shots Orlando was started in November of 2012. It was time for me (Jenn) to go back to work after staying home with my children for a couple of years. The thought of sitting in a cubicle again made me sick… I knew there HAD to be something better! Also, my previous job at the Space Center was no longer. I saw a photo booth at an event and loved the idea but was not impressed with the setup and knew I could figure out something better. With a leap of faith and lots of support from my husband, Rob – Party Shots Orlando was started. “
What should couples expect when hiring Party Shots Orlando?
“The best product for the price. There are a TON of photo booth companies out there…but there is only one of us! We take the time to really customize the experience so that each couple has a special photo booth at their event. Whether we are customizing photo strips and coming up with wedding logos, changing the formats of the photo strips to different sizes, coming up with unique backdrops or adding GIF’s to digital send outs… we try to make YOUR photo booth experience different than all the others you and your friends have done before.”
What does the client get to take home after everyone has taken they photo strip?
“In our booths, everyone gets a photo strip… 10 people in the photo, 10 people get a strip! We also print an additional strip to add to your guestbook. On many of our thank you cards from our past Brides and Grooms, there is mention of how much they adore the guestbook! So many have said that they have looked at the book over and over again and laugh every single time. Our guestbooks have specific pages made to keep the book neat, clean and organized with designated spots for the photos to go as well as spots for your guests to leave you a small congratulations message.”
How customizable can a client be with the product? (Backdrops? Custom photo strip? Guestbook ideas? Props?)
“100% customizable! I love couples who may have a new idea. All of our photo strips are custom, we do not have designs you choose from, we chat about your wedding and then we make a photo strip that matches the theme and feel of the wedding.”
What is your favorite part of attending a photo booth at a wedding?
“Outside the booth: I love when I get the chance to see a bride about to walk down the aisle with her father. I still tear up! My second favorite is when they are announced in the room for the first time. Inside the booth: I love when the Bride and Groom get to take their pictures together. The happiness that radiates from them is always amazing!”
What is your go-to photo booth prop or pose?
“My personal favorite prop is the classic lips and mustache! It looks great on anyone and is so classic. You cannot go wrong with lips or a mustache!”
What is one tip that you could give to a couple looking to or thinking about renting a photo booth for their wedding?
“The best tip I can give is…do your homework! Look the companies up on Wedding Wire or on the knot as well as ask your wedding planner! Talk to the company and make sure they fit you your personality. Look for someone who wants to put your vision to life.”
