Meghan & Dan – February 25, 2012 – St. Margaret Mary Church & Winter Park Civic Center
Meghan and Dan’s approach to the theme for their peacock Orlando wedding was always timeless & classic with a touch of flare!
Dan is a big fan of classic cars, so having one as transportation to and from their magical day was only fitting! I remember seeing them pull up in their hot ride, and watched him as he helped her out, holding her dress. It was just one of those magical moments that simply took my breath away.
This adventurous couple wanted something fun and interesting for their room layout and that is exactly what we helped them to achieve. Since Meghan and Dan knew their friends and family liked to dance the night away, we featured the dance floor as the centerpiece of the room. Feasting tables lined the perimeter of the dance floor and also provided each guest with a view of the action. The tables were decorated with clouds of hydrangea floated atop tall, crystal cylinders, which was intermingled with floating candles, submerged orchids and decedent, royal purple linens. Each place setting was accented with gold chargers, teal satin napkins and a peacock feather.
To add to the timeless characteristics of this fun peacock wedding, a 10- piece live band provided the night’s entertainment. With classic and contemporary songs being played, everyone was sure to have an amazing time out on the dance floor! This venue provided the perfect setting for this to truly be a simply chic occasion!
We really enjoyed working with all of the vendors, the two amazing families, and the fun bridal party! We were so fortunate to be a part of Meghan & Dan’s peacock Orlando wedding that they will remember for the rest of their lives.
