Lindsay & Jack – July 9, 2016 – Omni Amelia Island Church & The Ribault Club
Having known Lindsay prior to her engagement, I knew that her wedding would beautiful. She had a vision for her Ribault Club wedding, and everything came out perfect!
Let me start by saying that the Amelia Island/Jacksonville area of Northern Florida is beautiful, especially for a wedding! We loved being able to travel to a new place to do what we love most. The ceremony took place at the church on the Omni Resort’s property. With wooden ceiling beams and floor to ceiling windows, it was the perfect backdrop for this couple’s nuptials!
After the ceremony, guests made their way to Fort George Island for the reception at the Ribault Club. This historic property had so much southern charm behind it. As you drive up, you are welcomed by the white brick exterior with green shutters. The many windows allowed for tons of natural light to flood the reception rooms. The back of the building opened up to a long porch and large grassy area that held the dance floor.
The decor was simple, but one of the most beautiful we have seen. Going off of the colors of the venue, Lindsay decided to stick with the neutral tones of whites, creams, tans and greens. Tables were dressed in crisp white linens, with white florals and greenery as the centerpieces. Our favorite detail was the huge head table on the back porch, seating over 30 people! It had a gorgeous green garland down the center of it, adding to the simple theme.
Guests loved the party atmosphere that this wedding oozed. They enjoyed the outdoor dance floor, with market lighting above them. We enjoyed seeing Lindsay, Jack and their 200 guests have the time of their lives!
Lindsay & Jack, a huge thank you for letting us be a part of your special day at the Ribault Club! We loved working with you to make your dream wedding happen! XO
