  • Stephanie & Chris – February 3, 2017 – Club Lake Plantation & Ceviche

We first started working with this sweet couple about a year before the big day. We helped them secure their venues, perfectly suiting their needs for each vision they had. Because of the differences in venues, we’re dubbing this one the ‘one with the Southern Spanish Charm’ Wedding!

Can we make this Southern Spanish Wedding a thing?

Because of Stephanie’s love of horses, Club Lake Plantation was the perfect place to hold their nuptials. There are literally horses next to the ceremony spaces, and working stables on property! The weather couldn’t have been more perfect. The sun was shining through the trees by the time the ceremony started, adding a luminous glow and feeling of romance. The ceremony included personal touches, and you could really feel the love from each one of their guests. Their unity ceremony was planting a tree, but mostly the symbolism behind ‘planting a new life together’. It was touching, sweet and outdoor appropriate!

After the heartfelt ceremony, guests made their way towards lively Downtown Orlando. Located on Church Street, Ceviche is the perfect backdrop for any reception. It gives you the historic feel of the city, with a Spanish flare. (Get how we’re tying in the ‘Southern Spanish Wedding’ feeling now?) After cocktail hour, guests made their way upstairs for the reception. The space was drenched in romance; from the romantic uplighting, to the red walls, to the market lighting that was part of the decor. Our favorite part (and probably the guests’ too!) was the private balcony off of the ballroom. Guests were able to enjoy the view of Church Street and all its happenings on a busy Friday night.

Dinner was served as a (what felt like) 7 course meal. Seriously the plates kept coming! Guests were able to let loose, enjoy the photobooth and grab a cupcake or two. The newlyweds danced the night away, and finished off the night with something out of a fairytale. They exited the restaurant with a sparkler exit, leaving in a horse drawn carriage to ride through the cobblestone downtown streets. Talk about a dream!

Stephanie & Chris, we LOVED working with you to bring out the Southern Spanish Wedding. We wish you all the best, always! XO
