Anna & Brooks – April 16, 2016 – Orlando Museum of Art
We met this adorable couple later in their planning process, but loved every minute we had helping them tie together all of the details for their Teal Wedding!
The Rotunda of the Orlando Museum of Art was the perfect setting for their ceremony. They had an arch draped in elegant ivory sheer fabric and decorated by beautiful green garlands. Guests sat in gold chiavari chairs, while anxiously awaiting the start of the ceremony. A family member performed the heartfelt ceremony with the couple’s closest friends stanning by their sides.
After the ceremony, guests entered the beautiful Chihuly Room for cocktail hour. One thing we loved about this wedding was that the couple took ALL (and we mean all!) of their photos early on in the day. It allowed for a much more relaxed couple & family members before the ceremony started. Guests even got to enjoy some extra time with the newlyweds too!
While everyone was enjoying their appetizers and cocktails, we were busy overseeing what we call a “room flip”- where the reception is set up in the same place that the ceremony is. This teal wedding was so simple, but still had a lot of elements going into it. The arch had to be moved, all guests tables and linens had to be brought in, chairs had to be replaced, the list goes on! We truly couldn’t have had a successful event without such an amazing vendor team.
This couple shared sweet moments with each other, family & friends throughout the night. We really loved being a part of such a joyous day! And might we add that our absolute favorite part of the night was the flaming donuts & s’mores stations that were open after the cake was cut!
Anna & Brooks, thank you for letting us be a part of your beautiful, elegant teal wedding! We loved working with you to make sure everything was a success! All the best, xo.
