• A Themed Wedding

  • Tami & James – October 6, 2013 – The Royal Crest Room

“May The Force Be With You!”

Let me just start by saying that I was so excited for this themed wedding from the moment I met Tami & James! Their fun, creative personalities really came out during the planning process, and it was a blast helping them come up with their design plan, decor elements and selecting their vendors. There were also many little details discretely implemented that stemmed from James’ love of Star Wars & Superheroes.

Despite the afternoon sprinkle, the outdoor pergola was set to perfection with flowy ivory fabric and beautiful blue & green floral decor. Their 200 guests listened to lovely string music from the quartet during the ceremony. After the heartfelt vows, guests entered into the spacious ballroom decorated in hues of pacific blue, apple green and classic ivory. The room had a sense of awe when the couple took the floor for their first dance–with special effects that looked as if they were Dancing on a Cloud!

The entire night was filled with laughs, tears and fun by all–including us vendors! My favorite part of this themed wedding was the light saber Grand Entrance. The bridal party held the toys while the newlyweds made their way to the dance floor for their first dance as husband & wife. It was such a fun moment!

Tami & James, thank you for letting Plan It be a part of your special day. We thoroughly enjoyed working with you, your families and AWESOME vendors to make your wedding amazing! We wish you all the best in your married life together! XOXO
