• Wedding Exits

  • Your perfect night is coming to a close, you have seen all the planning come together to make your dream wedding, but there’s one more thing left to do; your wedding exit! This farewell will gather all your guests together and be the last [awesome] photo opportunity for your wedding. There are many options for your final hurrah, but it is important to choose one that fits your style and will keep you both smiling. Plan It has compiled a list of our favorite old & new wedding exits to try and make your decision a little easier.

Sparklers will create a tunnel of glittery light & love. If you are looking for fun high energy way to send-off this might be the option for you. Keep in mind, sparklers are best used where a long two-sided walkway is available, and if your venue allows them.

    Confetti & Flower Toss
If you are looking for a pop of color in your wedding exit photo, a confetti or flower toss would be a perfect choice. This farewell will look like it’s raining soft colorful raindrops! Be sure to check with your venue on this. Sometimes, they only allow biodegradable items to be thrown, so there’s minimal clean up involved and it doesn’t hurt the environment.

Looking for something more fun & bubbly? A bubble farewell can create a beautiful illusion. Bubble exits are done best where there is a lot of lighting, an early afternoon wedding would be best. Best part is there’s no clean up needed!

Are you liking the idea of the confetti & flower toss, but don’t want anything thrown at you? Streamers are still a colorful way to end your wedding and will create a tunnel of flowery ribbon hugging the happy couple. Guests can always keep them as a favor, too!

    Cheering & a gateway vehicle
Something doesn’t have to be given to guests to throw or wave around to make a wedding exit special. Having your loved ones surround you with clapping and cheering as you make your way to your vehicle to start your new life together can be just as special. We love this shot of Meghan & Dan driving down Park Avenue in Winter Park, FL after their wedding ceremony!
