Something we are seeing a lot of (that isn’t going anywhere!) is wedding signage. Whether it’s a welcome sign, ceremony ‘unplugged’ sign, seating chart or something custom, it is all around! We’ve compiled some of our favorites we’ve seen lately and will probably do a part two of this to show more! It’s so hard to narrow down the options.
Welcome Sign
It seems silly to have, but it’s nice for your guests to be welcomed to your wedding. This can be in the foyer of the church, at the cocktail hour or at the back of the ceremony chairs. It’s also nice to keep in your home as a keepsake after the wedding! We’re loving this custom piece from our friend Andi Mejia & Co, a local Orlando Calligrapher.
Ceremony Sign
Similar to a welcome sign, this is a nice touch and it can do double duty! We have seen ceremony signs that incorporate a welcome message, a ceremony program, or an unplugged message. If your venue is large, it’s nice to have custom directional signage for guests to know the areas they are expected to be in. This acrylic 3D gold & white ceremony stunner is the perfect wedding signage. It went with the rest of the wedding branding from our friends at Do Tell Designs.
Seating Chart
This is probably one of our favorite pieces of wedding signage! The options for a seating chart are literally endless. To put it simply, it needs to have your guests’ names and table names on it. How you decide to display that is the fun part! We have seen something extravagant involving food or drinks, cards for guests to take off of a wall or even just a simple print out. We love the look of this simple seating chart in the wedding colors, but it’s a statement with the accenting florals around it. It was also over 7ft tall in person!
Custom Signage
Something we are seeing a lot of recently is custom signage, whether neon, wood or acrylic. When you go this route, it can be fixed to literally any type of backdrop anywhere in the reception! This couple chose to have this neon sign hang on a greenery wall and it acted as a photo backdrop for every guest to enjoy. We have seen custom signage when it comes to bar displays, lounges or sweetheart tables.
However you decide to incorporate wedding signage, make sure it’s all cohesive and as personal as possible. Bonus if it’s something you can display in your home after the wedding! We are here for any ideas or advice, so just ask!
